Seismic Interpretation project

Seismic data interpretation is one of the most important steps for oil and gas exploration and development. The interpretation will not only for identifying the structural pattern of the reservoir but also to identify the stratigraphic pattern, to get a complete story of the petroleum system “reservoir; channel – sand sheet – etc., Trap; Structural or stratigraphic”.

Seismic reservoir characterization plays an essential role in integrated exploration and reservoir studies, as it provides our clients with an optimal understanding of the reservoir’s internal architecture and properties. We start our study from qualitative seismic interpretation to quantitative and seismic facies analysis which will be very beneficial for hydrocarbon in place accurate estimation and to be a key role for 3D reservoir static and dynamic modelling.

Seismic Interpretation DHI project

Direct hydrocarbon indicators (DHI) could be a very useful to identify the hydrocarbon, specially the gas presence, also it will be supported by the conventional full bandwidth seismic attributes, which will be a powerful tool to delineate the channel “reservoir” architecture. Sometimes the DHI & seismic attributes are not enough to identify the channel “reservoir” architecture, so, another tool which will use a specific bandwidth for the seismic data spectrum will be used to identify the channel architecture.

Structure restoration helps geoscientists to validate the trap presence if is it before or after hydrocarbon migration which is a key element in hydrocarbon exploration.

Fault seal prediction in hydrocarbon reservoirs requires an understanding of fault seal mechanisms, fault rock petrophysical properties, the spatial distribution of seals, and seal stability.
